ABOUT
PAAYAL MAHAJAN
GLOBAL GROWTH & OPERATING EXECUTIVE
FOUNDER · OPERATOR · ADVISOR
I build businesses, organizations and intellectual property.
My work sits at the intersection of strategy, people, operations, customers and growth.
I am interested in difficult problems: how organizations grow without losing what makes them work;
how people and systems perform together; how customers become communities; how ideas become businesses; and what happens when an old category no longer fits the market.
I've spent more than two decades moving between technology, consumer businesses, membership, public infrastructure, executive advisory and human performance.
The industries have changed. The work has always been about building, understanding people, finding the growth opportunity and making the system work.
I BUILD
I SEE THE SYSTEM
I tend to enter where something is unfinished.
A business that needs to be built. An organization that has outgrown its structure. A market that has not yet been properly understood. A product that needs a business around it. An idea that needs to become intellectual property.
I've built companies, organizational functions, membership communities, technology-enabled platforms, operating systems and proprietary methodologies — often from zero.
The common thread is not the industry.
It is building what does not yet exist.
I UNDERSTAND PEOPLE
Strategy rarely fails in isolation.
Growth affects people. People affect execution. Technology changes the operating model. Customers reveal where the model is working, and where it isn't. Partnerships, regulation, culture and timing can determine whether a good strategy survives contact with reality.
I work across those connections.
That means moving comfortably between the boardroom and the operating details: strategy and execution, commercial opportunity and organizational capability, customers and systems.
I look for the thing underneath the obvious problem.
I KNOW HOW GROWTH WORKS
Growth is not simply acquisition.
It is acquisition, experience, engagement, retention, reputation, relationships and the economics underneath them.
I've worked on membership growth, customer engagement, commercialization, market expansion, strategic partnerships and new-market development across very different environments.
I've also seen what happens when growth outpaces the organization built to support it.
The interesting question is not simply how to grow.
It is what needs to change for growth to hold.
I BRING PEOPLE TOGETHER
Some problems cannot be solved by one organization acting alone.
A large part of my career has been spent between worlds: government and business, technology and public policy, corporations and communities, boards and operating teams.
I know how to find the common ground when the incentives are different, the language is different and everyone has a different definition of the problem.
That has meant working with the White House and U.S. Congress, the Department of Defense, government ministries in India, global foundations, international organizations, major corporations and community organizations.
The point isn't the room.
It's getting the right people in it. And giving them a reason to move.
I TURN EXPERIENCE INTO IP
I am interested in what happens after the work.
What can be learned? What can be named? What can be turned into a framework, methodology, product, business or new category?
That is the thinking behind The Paayal Mahajan Method™, 101010Transformation™, 101010Technique™, my Silver Economy research and the broader consumer and human-performance businesses I have built.
I don't see intellectual property as something separate from operating.
The best IP usually comes from doing the work first.
JUDGMENT
The work I do is often less about having the answer than knowing which question matters.
I've operated in environments where the problem was complex, the stakeholders were numerous and there was no obvious playbook.
That requires judgment: what to pay attention to, what to ignore, when to move, when to wait, who needs to be involved and what will actually change the outcome.
It is one of the reasons founders, executives and boards come to me when the answer isn't obvious.
I take that seriously.

HUMAN PERFORMANCE
Human performance is one part of my broader body of work.
Years of working closely with executives, founders, entrepreneurs and high-performing individuals led me into questions of behavior, performance, leadership, longevity and the changing needs of women across the second half of life.
That work has developed into proprietary methodologies, advisory work, learning programs, consumer businesses and the Silver Economy research I continue to develop.
